A Fresh Look At An Old Idea: Hexayurts

One of the greatest revolutions in temporary housing appeared in the form of the Hexayurt.  The idea has been adapted for relief efforts, as well as for festival housing.  Playa yurts, known for their silvery appearance because of the reflective insulation they're hewn from, have become a go-to for festivals, primarily Burning Man.  But they're not without their downsides. The Playamid was born out of the desire to fix some of those problems.
